Gau Katha opens Gateway to Indian Culture for Gidderbaha, Muktsar, Punjab
The cows have been considered as pride of our country. It has been said, “The Golden age arrives on the Earth, when the cows are the happiest, but when they are sad, the Black Age establish itself firmly”. If one tends the cows and takes kind care of them, he is considered to be the blessed soul on Earth, as to serve the cows is equivalent to serve the God.
Lord Shri Krishna, in his childhood always ran behind cows, played with them, took supreme care and even made them the part of lucky audience when he played his melodious flute. Our beloved Kanha gave a great message to follow his deeds. The cows which were considered as ‘Narayan’ according to the Hindu Mythology are nowadays looking for mercy. Though, we are living in the world where ‘Necessity is the mother of invention’, yet we need to understand ‘Cow is the mother of unconditional grace’. Our holy mother is now left as ‘just another animal’ on the road. Thus proving, how we have come from Golden to Black Age.
