Divya Jyoti Jagrati Sansthan established under the Mentorship of His Holiness Shri Ashutosh Maharaj Ji, is a socio-spiritual-cultural, not-for profit organisation.
We maintain that every major religion of the world – Hinduism, Buddhism, confucianism, Christianity, Jainism, Islam, Sikhism, Judaism - has similar ideals of affection, a similar goal of benefiting humanity through spiritual practice and also the same impact of making their followers into better human beings. All religions teach ethical precepts for perfecting the functions of mind, speech and body. All teach us not to lie or steal or take other's lives and so on. The common goal of all ethical precepts set down by the great teachers of humanity is unselfishness. The great teachers needed to guide their followers away from the paths of negative deeds caused by ignorance and to introduce them to paths of goodness.
All religions agree upon the necessity to manage the undisciplined mind that harbours selfishness and different roots of problems and each problem teaches a path leading to a spirituality state that's disciplined peaceful, ethical and wise. It's in this sense that we think all religions have primarily an equivalent message. Variations of dogma is also ascribed to variations of time and circumstance as well as cultural influences. So, there's no end to scholastic argument when we acknowledge the purely spiritual side of religion. However, it's much more useful to implement in daily life the shared precepts for goodness taught by all religions instead of to argue about minor variations in approach.
