Shrimad Bhagwat Katha

It is said that one who listens to discourse on Bhagwat Katha has fructified all results of past good karmas. This Katha is extra- ordinary as it can be received neither by heaven dwellers nor the powerful demons. This Katha can only be bestowed to residents on earth and hence those who attend it consider themselves as immensely fortunate.

Divya Jyoti Jagrati Sansthan (DJJS) organized a 7 days Shrimad Bhagwat Katha program from 19th June to 25th June, 2016 at Samana, Punjab. It was attended by a huge gathering including a list of distinguished guests and eminent personalities. Beauty of this Katha lies in the fact that it is a great summation of devotion and knowledge. It is composed by Maharishi Veda Vyas in the highest state of yoga, which is Samadhi. Sadhvi Vaishnavi Bharti Ji, orator of the Katha said, “Shrimad Bhagwat Katha is a bejewelled epic which is pronounced by God Himself and which has the power to make one realize its higher goal in life.” She explained that all issues of society are entangled with each other and cannot be solved only through the usage of our intellect. There needs to be a spiritual reform to bring about transformation in the society today.

DJJS has been making many such endeavours towards this societal uplift. An ongoing program named Antarkranti- working for prisoners' reformation is one such step. As a part of Antarkranti, jail inmates are imparted with Brahma Gyan by which they connect with true way of meditation. On regular practice of meditation, an inner change in conduct and behaviour is observed among the jail inmates. They don't want revenge any more rather they want to volunteer for social causes and live a pure life henceforth.

Sadhvi Ji is the preacher disciple of Shri Ashutosh Maharaj Ji (founder and mentor of DJJS). She elaborated that Brahm Gyan (Divine knowledge) is the direct perception of divine light within us. The power to bestow Brahm Gyan is with a perfect master only, which Ashutosh Maharaj Ji is doing in current era. A meditating person can see this light in one's forehead at centre of eyebrows. At the time of receiving Brahm Gyan, individual in meditation experiences numerous other divine visions, like the sweet taste of nectar, the limitless music- anhad, clear primordial vibration etc. By the constant practice of Brahm Gyan, one lives a balanced, happy and peaceful life. All ifs and buts are removed. If an individual becomes peaceful, then a society can become peaceful.

There was huge appreciation amongst the audience on Sadhvi Ji's wide knowledge and eloquent speech. All guests were seen listening very attentively to the preacher and most of them sat through the entire session in spite of their busy schedule. The guests said that they came to know about all social and spiritual programs in progress and they are all very commendable. They mentioned that this dialogue based epic Shrimad Bhagwat Katha was presented in a unique style which is praise worthy. As need for such spiritual programs was highlighted in the discourse, its relevance should be understood by all age groups of society. Music Lovers Laden with Divinity in Bhajan Sandhya

Music is the language of the spirit. Amidst the daily cacophony of life, it opens the secret of life, bringing peace and abolishing strife. Someone has beautifully said:

“Where there is devotional music, God is always at hand with his gracious presence”

Devotional music acts like a bridge between God and a devotee. A devotee can easily reach to his almighty, talk to his lord with lyrics explaining his longing to meet his God and rhythm describing his eternal love for his God.

In order to reveal the true meaning of devotion and to experience the positive impact of it, Divya Jyoti Jagrati Sansthan (DJJS) - a non-government, non- profit and a leading spiritual organization, head and founded by His Holiness Shri Ashutosh Maharaj Ji, organized a programme of Bhajan Sandhya on 29th May, 2016 at Ahmedabad, Gujarat.

Hundreds of music lovers witnessed the taste of extreme devotion through the rhythm and tunes of music. DJJS Preachers presented a series of devotional songs which evoked the spirit of spirituality and mesmerized the audience. The whole ambience was reverberating with serenity, calmness and oneness with the Lord. The impact was such that everyone was glued to their seats and was with themselves. 

It encouraged them to realize the impact of ‘divine knowledge’ or ‘Brahm Gyan’ recited in the bhajans. It invited them to experience the role of Brahm Gyan in life. The divine magic, after immersing oneself deep into the ocean of Brahm Gyan, can definitely be felt and its huge positive impact sets the very foundation of change in the world.

Overwhelmingly and happily, audience realized that- “When God is involved anything can happen, just trust Him for He has a beautiful way of bringing good music out of broken chords.”

Gau Katha Established the Essence of 'Bharat' in Hearts of Disciples

Historians say that centuries back, there was a Roman King ‘Vitelius’ who first used to stuff himself at the whims of his gluttonous palate, and then vomit out by drugging himself. Eat and eat, over and over again, he could not feel content until his digestive system broke down. Someone has truly said to describe such people, “Fire cannot be extinguished by pouring oil in it; rather it gets wilder.” In words of psychologists, affluence is directly proportional to inward crisis. Once Jesus said, “Bread won’t feed man’s soul; obedience to every word of God is what we need.” And, we can follow God only by imbibing His words in our heart, body, mind and soul.

India is a land which is known for quenching the spiritual thirst of mankind, where unguided people find their supreme destiny. And, In order to reveal the unmeasurable greatness of ‘Bharat’ as a country and to inspire the gathering with the gems of spirituality, Divya Jyoti Jagrati Sansthan (DJJS) - a non- government, a non-profit and a leading spiritual organization, headed and founded by His Holiness Shri Ashutosh Maharaj Ji, organized a seven day spiritual program of Gau Katha from 22nd - 28th May, 2016.

The program was commenced with the warm welcome of all guests, preachers, volunteers and congregation. Many prestigious guests marked their valuable presence during the program. Some of them were- Mr K.D. Bhandari (Chief Parliament Secretary), Mr Surindhar Singh Sodhi (Former IG), Mrs. Sheetal Vij (Chairman- Shri Devi Talab Mandir Prabhandak Committee), Mr Rajesh Aggarwal (President- Shri Geeta Mandir), Mr Sunil Jyoti (Mayor), Mrs Kulwinder Kaur Oberoi (Deputy Mayor), Pargat Singh (MLA), Mrs Neerja Jain (Counsellor), and Mr Kamal Sharma (Former Counsellor).

A holy beginning of the program by the humble prayer at the lotus feet of Lord Krishna filled the hearts of audience with immense peace and devotion. Then after, the melodious series of devotional and inspiring bhajans, songs, soaked the hearts of devotees with immense devotion and serenity.

The spiritual discourser of the program – Sadhvi Sumedha Bharti Ji, very beautifully cited the divine incidents from the life of Lord Krishna depicting how the culture, traditions and rituals of ‘Bharat’ have supreme purpose towards divinity, which can actually cure the spiritual crisis that has trapped today’s world. Sadhvi Ji further explained how cows play valuable role in Bharat’s prosperity. Truly, cows teach us a lifelong lesson for unconditional love and sacrifice.

The spirited people, strong inclination of them towards spirituality marked the success of the program.

The September Spiritual Congregations Galvanize the Entire Nation!

With the divine grace of His Holiness Shri Ashutosh Maharaj Ji, the founder and head of socio-spiritual non-profit organization, Divya Jyoti Jagrati Sansthan, various monthly congregations are held from the northern most tip of India to the southern coasts, all across the nation. The devotees join together at these monthly spiritual congregations to reconnect, replenish, and recharge themselves. Brahm Gyan technique of self-realization granted by His Holiness is being practiced throughout the country as well as the world.
