A Rejuvenating Dose for Office Lifestyle

What an awesome vacation! Miles away from the humdrum of life, you are basking in the company of your near and dear ones. Mesmerizing locales, soothing ambience, ecstatic moments…what else could one want for an enriching experience?
Suddenly, trin trin…!!!
Your clock needle hits the right time and alarm starts buzzing. Oh! So sad… This breaks your dream and you are forced to step out of your flight of imagination. “Gosh, that escape from the hustle and bustle of routine life was at least better in the world of fantasy,” says your heart.
Well, whatsoever it may be, it's time again to rush to the office and live another day full of tight deadlines. Here you go, reach the office, punch in to mark your presence, and finally get settled at your workstation. Now you perform a desk-bound job while being in the same position or posture. So, this, undoubtedly, becomes monotonous and you start losing the passion you once had on joining your current organisation.
Now this is the scenario of a sedentary office lifestyle that most of the professionals accept the way it comes. However, there are some who actually dare to accept it as a challenging opportunity to rise up and devise ideas to transform such a lifestyle into an enthusiastic one. This could essentially offer you a regular health schedule, which can be pursued at the workstation itself without any hassle.
We bring to you excerpts from a face-to-face conversation that we recently had with Mr. ABC, a corporate professional in one of the reputed firms. Let's see what he expresses about this attention-seeking issue.
Q1. What do you think is a major challenge that you have to face in your sedentary office lifestyle?
A. What comes as a major challenge is how to manage our health with loads of work. For, it's undoubtedly true that a sedentary office lifestyle takes a toll on our health and leads to certain disorders.
Q2. What's your mantra in dealing with such a demanding office lifestyle?
A. Aha! I believe a situation doesn't become demanding until you consider it to be so. No need to panic even if you are engrossed with piles of work. Try to be calm and learn to prioritise your work.
If you apply a meticulous time management technique and complete the assigned tasks without procrastination, you will get sufficient time to have breaks and enjoy moments of leisure with your colleagues.
Q3. Would you like to share a few tips on how to maintain health amidst this lifestyle?
A. Sure! Primarily, I am concerned about maintaining a straight body posture. Your position shouldn't make you lean. Then,it is the stroll that I usually take during lunch breaks. In addition, I perform some simple exercises while being at my workstation. Such small efforts make a big difference and sustain liveliness within me.
I think eating habits are equally instrumental in setting our mood. I never skip my breakfast. Sometimes, if I get late and can't have it at home, I bring it packed to my office.
I always carry fruit and salad or other stuff like nuts in my box so as to control my appetite arising at irregular intervals. Also make sure to drink lots of water during the day. It's also important to have less of oily and spicy snacks as they make you feel lazy.
Friends, these tips and ideas will certainly prove to be fruitful for you. The crux lies in the fact that it's all about your willingness to make your all-day sitting job interesting as well as motivating by implementing simple ideas.
Now it's time to browse through some easy to perform exercises that help keep your health disorders at bay. The best part is you can carry out these exercises within the comfort zone of your own workstation.

STRETCH YOUR WRIST

Make your left arm straight, in front of the face. Turn the palm up and use the other hand to hold left hand's fingers. Pull the fingers gently towards you to stretch the forearm. Hold for 20-30 seconds and perform the same with the other arm.

STRETCH YOUR HANDS

Take a water bottle and hold it between your hands in straight position, in front of the face. Lift your arms up over the head. Gently bend towards the left, as far as possible. Return to the center and repeat the same on the right side.

LOWER BODY MOVE

Sit tall and pull the abs (muscles of the abdomen) in. Now lift your left foot a few inches above the floor. Hold for 2 seconds and lower the foot. Repeat the same on the other side.

STRETCH YOUR LEGS

Sit tall and pull the abs in. Raise your left leg until it becomes straight. Squeeze the quadriceps (a muscle of the thigh that extends the leg). Hold this position for 2 seconds and lower your leg. Repeat the same with the other leg.

CHAIR EXERCISE

In sitting posture, lift yourself up a few inches above the chair and keep arms straight to balance this posture. Remain in this position for 2-3 seconds and stand up.
Besides these exercises, make the following tips a necessity of your work life:
1. Walk a few steps every hour to avoid stiffness; this will ensure proper blood circulation in your arms and legs.
2. Use the stairs instead of the elevator unless there is an urgency.
3. Take your eyes off the computer screen at regular intervals and look around at other objects to ensure eye movement and avoid headache.
4. Make it a habit to drink sufficient water to stay calm and relaxed.
Though it's not a cakewalk to transcend the influence of a tedious work life, your steadfast attitude would indeed guide you towards accomplishing a happy work life if you put into practice these simple exercises and suggestions. To add more, the best comes out when you also attempt to sustain a cordial relation with colleagues around you. A smiling face, positive attitude and sympathetic expressions foretell the existence of an optimistic aura around you. The same accompanies you while you drive back home, listening to soft music and thereafter, spend joyful moments with your dear ones.
On the whole, it rewards you with a satisfactory life that is judiciously balanced at both personal and professional fronts.

Devi Bhagwat Katha

Devi Bhagwat Katha

No matter how complicated the subject might look, but ‘Spirituality’ is the utmost and the easiest way to simplify all things. Spirituality is the journey to first realize, then understand and then after merge into the ultimate truth.  The journey requires many valuable qualities like- purity, surrender, loyalty, sacrifice, meditation, practice, discipline, etc. But, the sincerity and humble prayer makes everything possible. Lost are those who don’t even come forward for this journey, and the ones who walk consistently, definitely reach the destination.
In order to encourage the congregation to take up the spiritual journey and to realize the highest truth in life, Divya Jyoti Jagrati Sansthan (DJJS) – a non- government, non-profit and a leading spiritual organization, headed and founded by His Holiness Shri Ashutosh Maharaj Ji, organized a program of Devi Bhagwat Katha, from 08th to 14th May 2016, at Vadodara.
The program was initiated with the holy prayer at the lotus feet of Devi Durga. A large number of congregators and their cheerful spirit for spirituality turned the ambience into a divine one. People soulfully got engaged in the devotional songs and bhajans that were sung. Heartfelt lyrics with supreme dedication attracted the audience.
The spiritual discourser of the program - Sadhvi Aditi Bharti Ji set the examples in front of audience on how a truth seeker of knowledge can make his life a great success. She cited examples on how today’s women can kindle their inner power and fight with the negativities of society. Women have to become a fighter, warrior and survivor but never a victim of today’s evil society. She even told how “Brahm Gyan”- the divine tool can help them in empowering their “Inner Shakti”.
The program served its purpose successfully and audience stepped forward to make their life a success story.

Believing without seeing is blind following

 DJJS

You must have heard people declaring at the top of their voices: ‘We are Christians’ or ‘We are Hindus’ or ‘We are Jews’, etc. Basically, this is all a matter of their belief. Have you ever tried to ponder over what they actually believe in? Generally, we are compelled to believe and, hence, follow whatever we have been granted by our parents and taught right from our birth. We consider ourselves to be Hindus if we are born in a Hindu family, Muslim if born in a Muslim family believing in Prophet Mohammed, Jews if born in a Jewish family, and Christian if born in a family believing in Jesus Christ. However, whatever family you belong to, you cannot be truly religious unless you achieve the direct experience of God, as exhorted by Swami Vivekananda:

Religion is the realization of God.

The aforementioned maxim elucidates the fact that to be a true Hindu or Jew or Mohammedan or Christian, one needs to achieve the practical experience of God. In other words, without the direct perception of God, you cannot be truly religious. Believing in God without seeing is merely a blind following. Moreover, such a belief can never be staunch and steadfast; for it can easily whither away, swayed by the vicissitudes of our life. One of the eye opening incidents in the life history of Lord Buddha vividly exhibits this fact before us.
Once someone approached Lord Buddha and said, ‘O Buddha! My son is looking for a job. If there is any existence of God, then he must get a job within three days.’ Fortunately and to his amazement, the very second day, his son got a job. Out of joy, he came running to Buddha glorifying God, ‘O Buddha! Your God is really great. See, He is so miraculous and powerful that He granted the job to my son. O Buddha, I am overjoyed today. This fulfillment of my wish has made me believe in your God. From now onwards, I can easily believe in your God.’ Seeing his excited state and sensing his pre-conditioned belief in the existence of God, Buddha gave him a token of advice, ‘Dear son, no doubt, God is there, but if you want to develop an unflinching faith in Him, then stop desiring and imposing conditions on Him.’ However, the ignorant man did not pay any heed to his holy advice. Few days passed and that man again visited Buddha and said, ‘O Buddha! My wife is severely sick. If God is there, then she should recover within three days; otherwise, I shall be an atheist again.’ However, to his utter dismay, his wife passed away the very next day, and he came rushing to Lord Buddha condemning and blaming God in full rage.
Dear readers, similar is the flinching faith exercised by the people today. How can conditional belief be staunch and steadfast? The majority of people today are accustomed to believing without any application of the scientific law of experimentation and research to validate what they believe in. Without any verification, they believe in their personal gods, scriptural injunctions, rituals, and ceremonies. There is no harm in believing, but remember that belief is only the first step. It would stagger and prove futile if it fails to culminate in the flowering faith.
There is a world of difference between the two terms- faith and belief. Faith can be defined as the ripened belief, the well-tested and well-verified belief. Suppose, someone comes to you and says, ‘There is a lion outside the building you are sitting in.’ If, relying blindly on his words, you start trembling out of fear, then such a trust of yours, unaccompanied by any investigation, will be called a mere belief that can even be a blind one. However, if after getting the news of the lion, you don’t simply rely on the words of the news giver, instead you start inquiring and investigating and trust in his words only after verification, then this belief of yours can be said to be true faith. Therefore, faith can be described as an unflinching belief developed only after the practical experience.
Similar is the case with religious faith. It too demands a scientific approach. Faith does not mean a cosy belief to rest by; rather, it is a torch to enlighten the Soul for spiritual realization. In the absence of this torch, the belief of the faithful is identical to the unbelief of the faithless; for then it becomes entirely dogmatic. However, no dogma or creed can appease the hunger of a truly religious heart. It is only the practical realization that can quench the spiritual thirst and satiate the spiritual hunger. True religion is a matter of inner practical experience and not that of belief or dogma. However, dear readers, as is explicated quite frequently, this inner practical experience or the direct perception of Almighty dawns only when a Perfect Preceptor (Spiritual Guru) bestows upon us True Knowledge or Divine Knowledge.

Shrimad Bhagwat Katha

  Shrimad Bhagwat Katha

On the bank of Kshipra river, Ujjain, Madhya Pradesh, during the epic celebration of Kumbh Mahaparv, Divya Jyoti Jagrati Sansthan holds a mega event consisting of three kathas, RudrashtadhyaiVilakshan Yoga Shivir, Ayurvedic health camp, and much more. In the series ofkathas, the primary occasion, Shrimad Bhagwat Katha, was held from April 24th to April 30th, 2016.
Katha orator, Sadhvi Aastha Bharti Ji is a world-renowned narrator and purveyor who does not only theorize the holy katha but also indicates towards the practical aspect of the tale. Sadhvi Ji, the daughter disciple of His Holiness Sarv Shri Ashutosh Maharaj Ji, the head and founder of Divya Jyoti Jagrati Sansthan, has experienced the same herself practically. She proclaimed that all narration in any holy scripture known to mankind has a practical aspect that can only be perceived with the guidance of a true master.
Amongst some key attendees was respectable Morari Bapu who kindly granted his presence as well as paid reverence to kathavyas Sadhvi Ji. In addition, Sant Sh. Mahesh Guru Ji from Prem Yamuna Sewa Trust, Ujjain, Sh. Rakesh Ji Dagor, BJP-Sambhagiya Sangathan Mantri Sambhag, Ujjain, Sh. Santosh Ji Verma, Atirikt Jiladish Jila Ujjain, Sh. Jagdish Ji Kulmi, Chief Manager – Narmada-Jabuva Gramin Bank, Ujjain all appeared as chief guests at the grand event.
All spiritual manuscripts, religious texts, and divine contents, point towards one eternal law: God can be seen.
Similar is the declaration in Bhagwat Gita where Lord Krishna showed HIS true form to Arjuna amidst the battlefield. Thus Arjuna, a seeker and a devotee of the Lord, realized the practical aspect of all principles imparted by Lord Krishna, thereby epitomizing the principal of ‘Seeing is believing’.
Sadhvi Aastha Bharti Ji enunciated that His Holiness is revealing the same experience today through which she, along with countless beneficiaries, have seen God. Brahm Gyan is the scientific technique of experiencing the light of Lord within; the sole proof is that any seeker of the Lord can experience it as well.
Amongst a current of sadhus, religious ascetics, and yogis, how can one identify a true Guru? Sadhvi Ji explained, citing the Bhagwat Gita, a true Guru such as the Jagad Guru, Lord Krishna, is the one who can enable one to fathom the true form of the God within. A perfect master does not limit the seeker to the boundaries of traditions and rituals but takes him to the abode of Lord Himself.
The Katha enriched the audience from all fronts of life with the true message behind the Holy Scripture instilling the quest to know God beyond the rites and customs set by society.

Shri Ram’s Divinity

DJJS

Under the auspicious guidance of His Holiness Shri Ashutosh Maharaj Ji, Divya Jyoti Jagrati Sansthan organised seven days Shri Ram Katha in Jalandhar, Punjab from 8th April to 14th April.
Shri Ram Katha has been narrated and heard for ages. This shows the amount of faith and love towards personality of Lord Ram in the minds and hearts of people across generations. The personality Lord Ram had symbolises ideal societal values and human virtues.  It gives detail guidelines about every relation such as father-son, husband-wife, and teacher-student and between two brothers or friends.
This fascinates the listener, because every individual in the society is the centre of a web of relations in his personal space and feels the euphoria of an ideal relation marked by true love, sincerity and faith. In day to day activities he/she is always in search of such an ideal relationship and expects that the person with whom he/she is related to will carry the relation morally. This often leads to disappointment because of impurity in minds and hearts of an ordinary person marked by personal gains and ego.
It is a matter of enquiry to discover what made Lord Ram impeccable?

Lord Ram was an incarnation of the Divinity on the physical plane i.e. earth. Divinity is described as Sat-Chit-Ananda i.e. that which is True, Conscious and Blissful. It is only this immaculate embodiment of Divinity that makes Lord Rama a complete and perfect persona. And it is only when such Divinity is established in an ordinary person that he/she can exhibit ideal thoughts, actions and behaviour.
It is through the eternal science of spirituality called Brahm Gyan (divine knowledge), that a Perfect Master activates the Divinity which is innate in the disciple. After this, all the energy gets channelized towards engaging in the activities that are morally and ethically correct. As a result he/she begins to emulate Lord Ram in action by expressing the Divinity within in them. The Katha delivered the profound message of divine knowledge and invited people to be the part of the World peace mission.. Shri Ram Katha

Gurudev Shri Ashutosh Maharaj Ji flawlessly depicted the Katha, and explained with innumerable examples of LORD Rama’s life, that his entire life was changed by one single event where HE fulfilled his Father’s promise. Lord Ram’s advent on earth aimed at the re-establishment of the Truth. He was the ultimate embodiment of Righteousness. His Life and journey was in perfect accordance with and adherence to “Sanatana Dharma” – the Eternal Truth. Despite rigorous trials posed by circumstances, time and again, He set forth an example of ideal living for the entire mankind.

Shri Ram personifies the characteristics of Purushottama – Right ActionMan: RAM. One should fully embrace Shri Ram’s virtues and must seek to sanctify every moment of one’s life by living up to them. Only then, life can be successful. To be RAM, first one has to imbibe his teachings & learning in mind, heart & soul, the sincere practice of righteousness can make the life successful and even make you the great person in the world.

The captivating discourse was accompanied by melodious and soulful bhajans which left the audiences spellbound.

The purpose of the event was to enlighten the masses about the real essence of ‘Bhakti’ and create an awareness among the people that ‘Global Peace’ can be achieved only when every single human finds inner peace.

Inner peace begins only when the minds of people transform, which is possible only when they can connect with the ' supreme Divine force 'within.

Sundar Kaand Katha

Sundar Kaand katha is a beautiful and inspiring part of Ramayana depicting the adventures of Hanuman, where his selflessness, strength, devotion, faith towards Lord Ram cannot be bind into the limitation of words. Hanuman’s inspiring journey to Lanka, meetings and conversation with Mother Seeta and Ravana, depicts his dedication and devotion on the path of righteousness. He truly represented himself as a beloved son of RAM- Right Action Man, through his actions and words.

Dictations of holy verses from the Sundar Kaand, filled the environment with sheer positivity and divinity.

The divine inspirations behind the Lord Hanuman’s acts and kindled each one to be a follower of the true religious path, where each wanderer can turn into the ‘Gurudoot’ (messenger of the Lord), just like Hanuman.

Along with the wise and valuable words, devotional bhajans made a remarkable contribution during the entire program and connected each soul to the divine happenings of Sundar Kaand. Indeed, the program was full of learning and teachings from the eternal relationship of Lord and Devotee- Lord Ram and Hanuman. No one can become Hanuman without the power and blessings of Lord Rama and even the supreme purpose of Lord cannot be completely fulfilled without the true devotee like Hanuman.

In a world, where the humans have become like – Ravana, in their approach and thoughts, there is a burning need of youth like Hanuman, who can fight with the evil and darkness and can spread the gems of spirituality with the power of divine light, shining within. Only then the world can witness the success of truth, success of religion and the complete ‘RaamRajya’. The program served its supreme purpose of enlightening the congregators by the divine actions and words of Bhakt Hanuman.

Early to bed, Early to rise!

You all must have heard the age old mantra of health…I remember granny used to say it often when I was a kid, “Dear! Early to bed, early to rise, makes a man healthy, wealthy and wise”. The mantra of health is by heart to all of us, but life in actual is just the reverse…late to bed and struggling to rise…is making me sluggish, obese and imprecise.

Reality is that it is not just a saying, but actually it encapsulates a deep science within. Our body is just like an alarm clock, pre-programmed with alarms for eating, drinking and sleeping. Scientist call this the action of biological clock which determines the activity pattern of an organism. It is this biological clock which determines whether you are a nocturnal creature or a diurnal creature. Everything your energy, your health, your activity is defined by this biological clock.

Agreed! But again Ayurveda shows us the way out. Remember those rishis sitting in meditation, the meditating pose of Mahatma Buddha, friends it’s not that they did not have work, infact they had missions like healing the world, establishing peace. They lead simple lives with basic minimum resources. Today we lead luxurious lives but yet our health is surrounded with question marks. Why such a difference? They had the art of managing their biological rhythm. It’s like you can wound or unwound your watch on your own to make it indicate the perfect time always. Likewise Ayurveda prescribes this supreme art- the art of meditation, regular practise of which can reduce your sleep cycle and keep you healthy even in your busy schedules.

Ah! Thinking what’s new in this I knew this already…

No friends closing your eyes and sitting in lotus posture is not meditation...Then what is it??

Stay hooked to know what the real art of meditation is!

Prabhat Pheri

In the stressful life of today, human being is searching for the moment of peace and calmness. Everyone is waiting for the dawn of a new era where only peace and tranquility is there; there is no place of hatred, violence and discrimination where everyone can reside with peace and dignity. A glimpse of such a morning was evident in the form of ‘Prabhat Pheri’ which literally means the ‘morning rounds’ where people walk for a purpose spreading message of love and peace.

It is a traditional lost in the realm of modernization. Long time ago, people from the villages would get up early in the wee hours of the morning and take rounds of the village chanting and singing ‘bhajans’ and playing ethnic instruments. It was believed that this ritual invoked the good spirits, and would chase the evil spirits of the night, further welcoming the morning with good vibrations.

It is said that it is never too late to learn and adopt good habits. ‘Prabhat Pheri’ is one such tradition which not only quenches our spiritual thirst but also keep us physically and mentally fit. The people appreciated the efforts of DJJS and vouched to be part of more of these morning events in future.

' Balanced body, mind & soul is what Youth is '

Swami Vivekananda, the international youth icon, the ' Messenger of Indian wisdom to the Western world ' professed the definition of youth in the most profound and apt manner where he focusses on the balance of mind, body and soul in life.

“ Never let me go Astray, YOU are the reason, For my Pray!!”

Supreme devotion is the flow of thought towards the supreme source, God, the common essence of everything existing in the whole creation. Our scientific world reveals the secret of the whole creation and affirms that everything has emerged out of the common unified field. The unified field, being the source of everything is the common essence and can be called Pure Energy, Pure Consciousness, or God.

And supreme devotion is the divine act of channelling our thought-flow towards the same. Where our devotion to the world, squeezing out our energy, leaves us frail and weak, our devotion to God revitalizes us while refilling us with new vigour and energy. Devotion to God is Supreme Love one can ever experience. It is true devotion and has eulogized as ‘bhakti’ by our religious scriptures. There are, basically, two different terms:

Shri Krishna Katha

The Shri Krishna Katha explains human life very clearly that the goal of the life is to tread the path which leads to the ultimate liberation of the soul. It is therefore an important guide for the conduct of human beings in all their affairs.

Shri Krishna Katha

The Krishna Katha acted at two levels – Inner purification of individual being and catapults the need of transformation of the society. Splendid stages, customary worship and peace-marches were the highlights of the event. The peace marches were organized to spread the divine vibes of love and brotherhood across the streets. A huge congregation of Katha-lovers participated in the nectar of narrations. Preacher disciples of Shri Ashutosh Maharaj Ji gave lucid descriptions of the verses very lyrically and artistically.

The Katha was not merely storytelling but was an oration of profound veiled meaning of it which can’t be understood by a human being. The Katha also gave a tremendous insight, a profound vision, and an entirely new perspective to the person who heard the narrative. On hearing, a person is never the same. There is a complete metamorphosis, a complete transformation, literally a new birth of Atman (soul) which is by its own nature supreme, cannot be bound and free from all bondages. Whatever bondages felt were sheer illusions of the mind. Shri Krishna Katha provided that light which enabled Jeeva (human being) to experience the wonderful freedom of liberation.

conclusion : Shri Krishna Katha

Monthly spiritual Congregation

Monthly spiritual Congregation

History remains a witness of this tradition, amongst many other meaningful ones that have stood strong since the Vedic times. Part of such tradition is satsang or sermon portion in which the disciple gains valuable lessons from the master. While the disciple feels immense pleasure in gaining cherish-able knowledge, master too feels honored in imparting knowledge to disciples who have the zeal to keep going on the path the Guru has shown.

DivyaJyoti Jagrati Sansthan holds numerous insightful spiritualevents. Shri Ashutosh Maharaj Ji, founder and head of Divya Jyoti Jagrati Sansthan, is the foundation behind the spiritual inspirations being rendered at these events. It is with His guidance that the organization has spread not just throughout the nation but also throughout the world. His goal of world peace does not seem distant when one witnesses such events being held in a timely manner. Due to His benign grace the Vedic traditions are being practiced and taught to the next generations.

There are many projects currently being run by organization’s selfless volunteers, for example, one never fails to notice the Antardrishti stall at the events. Antardrishti- the project for visually and physically impaired serves by providing them work opportunities, allowing them to stand tall and proud on their own feet. These special people make products such as candles, soaps, etc. which are further sold by DJJS volunteers, to raise revenue and help them earn their living. As evident in the pictures above, Divya Jyoti Jagrati Sansthan continues to make a difference in the country, one citizen at a time.

spiritual life of youth

spiritual life of youth

Youth not only means future of the nation but also the strength of the nation and the way to build it, after first building themselves. Yes!! Youth first have to build themselves. And the process demands courage, consistency, sacrifice, surrender, dedication, devotion andnever ending enthusiasm in life.

There is nothing in the world which is impossible for a youth, if he himself has decided to achieve something. Nothing can stop him, only he has to realize his hidden potential. And, that can be possible through practicing the meditation based on “Brahm Gyan”- Divine Knowledge. This mediation kindles positivity, motivation, supreme energy and peace, which is enough to actuate a youth. Such mediation also burns - negativity, desires, lust, anger, greed, ego, which helps a youth to stand for a purpose.

The program conducted series of activities to encourage them towards meditation, selfless service for the mankind, character building and to follow the path of righteousness in all circumstances. Many spiritual facilitators and disciple preachers of revered Gurudev collectively organized activities. Youth were also made to realize the harmful effects of drugs, which hinder the process of spiritual progress to great extent.

A strong positive mental attitude will create more miracles than any other wonder drug.”

The life of youth isn’t at all easy. It is a stage when many distractions often come to hinder one’s inner-progress. Fashion, glamour, lust, drugs, mood-swings, stress -- often creates instability, which can easily lead one to go astray. The spiritual discoursers of the day emphasized on Brahm gyan- the unique mediation technique based on divine knowledge. This effective tool can generate the humanity within human, qualities, ethics, value system, and character of a person which differentiate him from the rest of the crowd.

Inner peace

Inner peace

Innerpeace refers to a state of being spiritually and mentally at peace, with enough knowledge and understanding to keep oneself strong in the face of discord or stress. Inner peace can be reached only when we practice forgiveness. Forgiveness is letting go of the past, and is therefore the means for correcting. Peace of mind, serenity, and calmness are descriptions of a disposition free from the effects of stress. In some cultures, inner peace is considered a state of consciousness or enlightenment that may be cultivated by various forms of training, such as prayer, meditation or yoga. Awake your Energy. Enjoy the Inner Peace. Realize the dream. People have difficulties embracing their inner spirituality because the everyday stressors get the best of them and finding peace and happiness in the little joys of life can seem like a lot of work, and results don’t seem all that gratifying.

Spirituality - Mastering the art of Inner Peace

Spirituality is a mastering the art of Inner Peace. Peace is built on the foundations of different spiritual practices: connections, compassion, justice, unity. It's a goal of all spiritual human beings. Peace is an inner element of well being and calm. It's also an world peace project of promoting passive resistance, cooperation and conflict resolution in the world. Practice peace by refusing to compete in violence directly or indirectly. Gau Katha, a symbol of Divine bounty of Earth and an eye opener for the masses of Nurmahal, Punjab

India is a land of culture and values. In ancient times, spiritually accomplished sages and seers acquired the true knowledge of spirituality and recorded it as Vedas, Upanishads, and Puranas for the future generations to practice and follow. With time, the knowledge and usage of Vedas lost its sheen. Divya Jyoti Jagrati Sansthan, DJJS, is working tirelessly in resurrecting this lost sheen through the knowledge of Brahm Gyan provided by the Perfect Master of today, H.H Shri Ashutosh Maharaj Ji.  Gau Katha organized in Nurmahal, Punjab was one such attempt. It was held from 21 September to 25 September 2015 at 7 pm to 10 pm.
Sadhvi Sumedha Bharti Ji, Preacher Disciple of Shri Ashutosh Maharaj Ji, explained that millions of Hindus revere and worship cows. Hinduism is a religion that raises the stature of Mother to the level of Goddess. Therefore, the cow is considered a sacred animal as it provides us life sustaining milk. The cow is seen as a maternal figure, a care taker of her people. The cow is a symbol of the divine bounty of earth and hence must be protected and cared for.
As per Rig Veda, the cow is referred as divinity and that’s how Indian society started addressing cow as ‘Gau Mata’.  The Churning of the Sea episode brings to light the story of the creation of the cow. Five divine Kamdhenus (wish cows), viz, Nanda, Subhadra, Surabhi, Sushila, Bahula emerged in the churning.
On the last day of Katha, the listeners displayed a great zeal and enthusiasm in recording their feedback. They told media teams that they feel awakened about the true facts of our revered cow and are full of enthusiasm. Around thousands of people actively participated in the Katha out of which many were initiated with ‘Brahm Gyan’. Chief Guests made program special by their presence and were appraised about various social programs organized by DJJS like Antarkranti, Antardrishti, Manthan, Kamdhenu, Bodh etc.
