Salutes to the Motherhood!

A mother who always cares,
A mother who’s always there...
A mother who always stays...
So blessed God made this mother of mine!
May 8, 2016… A day dedicated to the mothers! Let’s celebrate this day by remembering some of the great mothers of the past…
She has nurtured the icons of loyalty!
It was the time when China was invaded from the north…The army in China was commanded by General Yue Fei. Undoubtedly, the situation demanded of him to show up his real strength and valour for the country. However, in those crucial moments, Yue Fei was trapped in a dilemma. On one end, it was the question of the life of his elderly mother, who was severely ill. On the other hand, his country’s freedom was at stake…He simply sat with watery eyes, looking at his loving mother in the state of utter helplessness. The mother smiled. She asked Yue to take off his shirt…However, without questioning, he handed his shirt to her. Mu, Yue’s mother, took her sewing needle and tattooed in big and bold letters these four Chinese words on it…
She has gifted this world with the great philosophers of the time!
This relates to the Fourth Century B.C. There was a child named Mencius, who was born in real challenging situations. When he stepped on this earth, he lost the shelter of his father. His mother, Zhang…In those trying times, she could manage to arrange for a dwelling near a cemetery...To her astonishment, Zhang noticed that her little son started imitating the voices of processions. This indeed became a cause of worry for her. There was no other way to rescue her son than looking for another house…She thus decided to make a move for the third time, despite all difficulties in making arrangements for the money. This time, she was successful in getting a house, which was adjacent to a school. Soon Zhang observed her son being impacted positively by the surroundings. Mencius was seen imitating the scholars...Mencius grew to become one of the greatest philosophers of China…There exists a Chinese idiom reflecting her mother commendable role in the making of Mencius, which says...
She has set the model of world “brotherhood”!...
She has been the inspiration to tread the path to reach the Supreme!...
She is the real power behind moulding the future of her child!...
What bold letters were tattooed by Mu, Yue’s mother...which Chinese idiom reflects the role of making Mencius.. How mother plays above great roles… To celebrate ‘Mother’s Day’ in true sense and in honor to all the mothers, commemorating such great role she plays in the making of a child, read the complete article in May'16 edition of English Akhand Gyan Monthly Magazine.

Dream and Dare – A Mantra for Success

I dream of rainbows, bright in the sky,
I dream of lightning, and then I cry,
I dream of flowers, I feel such delight,
I dream of spiders, and I scream with fright.
I dream of floating away on a cloud
I dream of catching a falling star
I dream of cows on the moon
A drop of dew and pink grass.
These are the dreams of a little kid with a limitless horizon. His dreams know no bounds. As a kid we dream big because there is no edge to what we can do, what we can have, or where we can go. But as we grow up, the people we work with, our friends, and even our own family members slowly condition us to admit the way things are and just settle. But it is truly said– “Take time to dream, it will hitch your wagon to a star.” It clearly states that dreaming is not just building castles in air; instead, your level of success is based on your ability to dream, to dream big, to work hard, to set goals and stay focused. Dream is not what comes when you sleep; dream is something which does not allow you to sleep. History proves that the intensity of dream backs the height of success for every successful man.
To erect even a simple mansion, the architect first of all has to construct the entire house in his mind; the location of the rooms, kitchen, washrooms, the site of the courtyard, erecting the walls, putting on the roof, settlement of all the fittings and the furniture and so on. Then, from the mind, the entire construction is poured out on a piece of paper and corrections are made. Next, erection starts at the gross level and finally the dream home becomes a reality. But from where did the construction actually begin? It began in the mind. Similarly, to raise your life high, you need to sketch it in your mind first. This preparation is nothing but dreaming. So, dream about your life as per what you really want to be!
To dream doesn't mean that you move around with your head high in the sky. It actually means that you are seeking a purpose for your life. And this can be accomplished only by you. Nobody else can come to your rescue. Once, a villager was packing his suitcase. His friend asked– “Hey, what's up! Where are you going?” The villager replied– “Actually, I'm going to the town to buy some cloth from the market there. Do you also need something?” The friend replied– “Oh, I remember! Can you give measurements to the tailor there on my behalf to stitch a nicely-fitting suit for me?” The villager got puzzled and he uttered, “How can I provide the measurement for your suit? You need to do it yourself.” Similarly, to dream about your future is your forte. You are well acquainted with your capabilities, potentialities, strengths and weaknesses. Others can merely direct or suggest to you; but at the end of the day, your eyes have to capture the zenith defining your life's success.
Moreover, we should not be diffident if our dreams are not in the league. In fact, our dreams should be one of their own kind. They should be matchless. Imagine if our ancestors would not have dream't of a far more comfortable life as it is today, we still had been the inhabitants of the Stone Age. Both Edison and Einstein were thrown out of their schools. They were labelled as hopeless students by their teachers. But both of them left a golden mark on the history of science. How? They chose to dream differently. Managing academic degrees and grabbing effortless jobs like others was not what they expected out of their lives. Rather, their eyes were brimmed with higher visions. Someone has rightly said– 'Our eyes make the horizon.' Those who dream big can achieve far more. In the musical South Pacific, there is a song called Happy Talk which says– 'Talk about things you'd like to do. If you don't have dream, how you gonna have a dream come true?' So, dream high, dream big.
But, it is important to note that merely dreaming will not take you to the goal. If you simply keep yourself engaged in dreaming of a vivid and vibrant future, then perhaps you may succeed in becoming another 'shekhchilli' who only spun tall tales throughout his life. You will be like lottery ticketers who continue to purchase lottery tickets and wish that luck will be compassionate towards them and at some point they will win a jackpot. Great men of courage, adventure and knowledge never waited for the smile of fortune. Thus, you ought to move ahead towards the next step i.e. TO DARE.
Everyone has oceans to fly, if they have the heart to do it.
To dare is a precondition for every triumph. When a plant rests in a soft, comfortable and cosy small pot, its life is at ease, relaxed and happy! No fight, no struggle, no scuffle! But this way, how deeply and significantly can it stretch its roots? And, up to what extent can it spread out its branches? Noticeably not much! A plant will continue to remain as a plant and will breathe its last as a plant. It will never be assigned the title of a tree. But if it dreams of an absolute revolution from a plant to a fully grown tree, with its gigantic and mammoth branches competing with the sky, then it has to dare. Dare to throw away its small, comfy home and get rooted into the field to withstand all the unfavourable and adverse circumstances. Likewise, to fulfil high dreams and high goals that we have chosen, we too need to dare. Dare to face the challenges that come in the way of success! To go with the flow is an easy option. Even a dead fish can do that. But to swim upstream is the certificate of life. So, dare to stand against all the odds!
However, an important query arises here, how can one become daring from within? This can happen only when we become aware of our inner strengths. When an individual is conscious of his own tremendous potentialities, abilities and capabilities; when he realises that he himself is the architect of his future, then nothing remains beyond his reach. Swami Vivekananda once said– 'The remedy for weakness is not brooding over weakness, but thinking of strength. Teach men of the strength that is already within them.' The world admires strength, not weakness. When a batsman hits sixes in succession, viewers give him a standing ovation in great excitement and dance in amusement. It's the adoration for the triumph of strength. Strength, energy and drive already present in a man receive universal praise.
But alas! Man uses only a small portion of an otherwise unlimited expanse of his potential energy. Imagine a cow tied to a pole with a rope in vast grassland. Despite being in expansive grassland, the cow can move only in a small area around the pole to graze the grass. It further contracts its area of movement by encircling around the pole thereby shortening the length of the rope. Men too constrict themselves and act within the perimeter they themselves set, not being aware of their immense strengths, capacities anDream and Dare – A Mantra for Success'd possibilities. But, those who are awake and are aware of their vast inner-storehouse of potential, they achieve towering success even in unfavourable conditions. Milton was blind, Napoleon had a skin disease, Julius Caesar suffered from epilepsy, Beethoven and Byron were deaf and the super-orator Demosthenes earlier stammered. All these personalities realised the huge potential hidden within them and then they dared to rock the world. So, dream big and then dare on the basis of your massive inner strength to progress on the path of success. That's the only way.

Shrimad Bhagwat Katha

Shrimad Bhagwat Katha

The happiness for which you are searching is nowhere outside but within you. To get the eternal happiness, there is a need to seek for the True Master. These beautifully words reverberated in Chakan, Maharashtra from April 19 to 25 during Shrimad Bhagwat Katha organized by DJJS (Divya Jyoti Jagrati Sansthan). Katha orator, Sadhvi Padamhasta Bharti Ji, preacher disciple of Shri Ashutosh Maharaj Ji, made it very clear that today's generation have to first seek for the company of true master and then only he can establish the true meaning of birth.

Each day of the Katha was vibrant with oration based decorations meticulously planned by DJJS volunteers. Many high profile guests and dignitaries also marked the divine assembly. It was bliss for everyone to attend such an enlightening Katha whose orator herself was self-realized by revered Gurudev Shri Ashutosh Maharaj Ji (Founder and head of Divya Jyoti Jagrati Sansthan (DJJS). DJJS is a socio-spiritual organization whose pillars are carried by selfless volunteers who are generously dedicated towards the mission of world peace.

Shri Ashutosh Maharaj Ji is a visionary saint, whose motto is to establish world peace by uniting all the inhabitants of the world into one global family. He quoted “The situation of the world cannot be grimmer than what is today, wherein upheaval and widespread calamity are just a press of button away to save the world from going into pieces, the need is to reform the terrorism mindset of its building blocks. Individual reformation can also lead to world reformation and the pre-requisite for that is Brahm Gyan- the art of governing one’s own self.

Sadhvi Ji orated, “People are so busy in decorating the destructive body that they forget the presence of a holy soul living within them who is craving to become auspicious with the grace of self realized master of time.” The preacher even made it easier for devotees to fathom "Why we need guru?" and "What is Brahm Gyan?" by singing bhajans (Devotional songs) in Maharashtra’s mother tongue ‘Marathi’. The beginning lines say it all:

' aaji soniyancha dinu warshe amrutancha ghanu,

hari pahila re hari pahila re sabhayabhntari awgha vypak murari!"

These lines were sung by Saint Gyaneshwar ji when he was bestowed upon with divine knowledge by his true master. It means “That the day of today is the golden day, I saw the father of universe and it lead to holy nectar fall within me.” We only request you to take one small initiative to meet your beloved GOD and you shall have it for sure.

The Why's of GOD!

Suppose Mr. X purchases a new car. Now, once he drives away with his car from the showroom, is it the manufacturer of the car who should be held responsible for the way Mr. X drives it? Should the manufacturer be deemed accountable if the car gets bumped into something and is smudged with scratches and dents? No! Likewise, the manufacturer alias the Creator of our lives is not the one to be held responsible for the kicks and hits of pain we face in our lives.
It can also be answered in this way– God made the law of gravity, thus making it possible for us to walk and remain grounded to the surface Mr. X of the earth. Now, if you climb a ladder and jump mindlessly, thus violating this law, thereby fracturing your leg, who is to be blamed– the law, the Lord or you yourself?
BUT, IT OFTEN HAPPENS THAT GOOD PEOPLE SUFFER, WHILE THOSE WHO ARE CLEVER AND HURT OTHERS FLOURISH. WHY THIS INJUSTICE IN GOD'S WORLD?
It's basically a corollary to the previous question. Let's say you have a silo, the container for storing the grains. You unload the huge sacks of grains into it, which then are taken out through a shutter opening near the bottom of the drum. Now, it is indisputable that the same type (implying the quality) of grains you put in the silo will come out from the shutter opening.
Similarly, this human garb being blessed by God is the silo. Our deeds vis-à-vis the grains, keep on getting filled in it. Of course, these grains are wholly and solely put in by us. Not even a single grain comes from God or anyone else into our silo. Good grains symbolise good deeds, and rotten grains represent our bad actions. There is one more aspect here, which cannot be ignored in our case. It is that the silo of the human garb is not empty at the time of birth; reason being, it contains the grains of deeds performed in past lives. This lot is further appended with the actions we carry out in this life. Now, suppose, at present you put in a good grain; but, a bad grain (stored earlier) happens to come out, or, vice-versa… would you call it injustice?
The same philosophy works when you do good to others, but in return receive suffering; or, when your colleague/relative deceives you or hurts you, but, in return excels in his personal and professional life!
Therefore, next time when you complain to God saying that He does injustice with good people, think again and ask yourselves… 'Are you justified in blaming Him for your actions?’
HATE, JEALOUSY, VIOLENCE, GREED, LUST– WHY GOD MADE THESE EVILS, THAT TOO DESIGNED IN SUCH A WAY WHICH TEMPT US AND WE ARE EASILY DOOMED?
It's true that everything is created by God, be it good or evil. The scriptures clearly state, "I am the Lord, and there is no one else. I form the light, and create darkness; I make peace, and create evil; I the Lord do all these things.”
It is also true that evil has an attractive covering. Almost everyone tends to fall in its trap. Being deceived by its alluring appearance, we happen to forget that what we think we are relishing, is actually sugar coated poison, killing us every moment!
But, evil has a significant role to play in God's creation. The value of goodness is realised in the contrasting circumstances of evil. Had the blackboard of evil not been there, how would the message of righteousness written with white chalk be visible?
Moreover, evil can be said to be the test-criteria projected by God, to see how wise we are in making our choices! …Whether we go for the trifling attractions and temptations of the world, which have time and again proven to be deceptive? Or, we seek the real beauty and attraction behind every existence in this creation!
The enlightened ones suggest us to utilise the tool of free-will and wisdom in making this choice. They say–
" Yat saarbhutam tadupaasitavyam hamso
yathaa ksheeramivaambumadhyaat "
Amidst the hurdles, be wise to imbibe only the essence; just as the swan sips the milk and discards the water.
Therefore, it is undeniably true that God created Evil. However, He has also created and stored in us the faculty to discriminate between 'Evil' and 'Good'. So, make use of this faculty. Follow the key advice– 'Take the best and leave the rest!'
WHY DESPITE SO MUCH PROGRESS, SCIENCE HAS NOT BEEN ABLE TO FIND GOD OR SOLVE THE GREAT MYSTERY?
The answer to this is beautifully expressed by Albert Einstein, who says– “I see a clock, but I cannot envision the clockmaker. The human mind is unable to conceive of the four dimensions, so how can it conceive of a God, before whom a thousand years and a thousand dimensions are as one?”
Besides lacking the requisite level of aptitude in terms of the appropiate tool to realise God, there is a flaw in the direction of search as well. In this context, Swami Vivekanada draws a contrast in the approach of the East and the West, which are often said to have spiritual and scientific bents respectively:
‘Just as the Greek mind, or the modern European mind, wants to find the solution of life and of all the sacred problems of our Being by searching into the external world, so also did our forefathers; and just as the Europeans failed, they failed also. But, the Western people never made a further move; ...they failed in the search for the solution…in the external world; and there they remained, stranded.
Our forefathers (the enlightened sages) also found it impossible, but were bolder in declaring the utter helplessness of the senses to find the solution… They discovered that dull, dead matter would not give them truth, and they fell back upon the shining soul of man, and there, the answer was found.’ ('The Complete Works' of Swami Vivekananda)
WHY IS IT SAID THAT GOD MADE MAN IN HIS OWN IMAGE? HOW CAN THE 'ALMIGHTY' GOD BE THE SAME AS A 'MINISCULE' MAN?
It is somewhat like saying– how can the electric current in the bulb fixed in your room be the same as the electric current in the 'big' power house? Or, how can the space of your small room be the same as the space of the 'whole' cosmos? It's only a matter of realising their oneness by looking beyond the confinement (of ignorance) through the appropriate tool (the Divine Eye in our case). The reality of our infiniteness will then be instantly revealed!

MAGICAL CODE TO SHOO AWAY FAILURES & DIFFICULTIES

spirituality

“What is the difference between a ‘champion’ and an ‘average person’?”- This question was once asked to an English football player, Tom Hopkins. An apt and crisp reply came: “The single most important difference between champion achievers and average people istheir ability to handle rejection and failure.”

Perfectly true! To do a self-analysis check, just try answering genuinely in ‘yes’ or ‘no’ these questions:

Do you feel sad and disheartened when you meet with failures or difficulties?
What if these failures go on hitting you umpteen number of times?
Do you give up your determination when the world labels your idea as ‘impossible’?
Do you lose all your hopes, when situations don’t seem to be favouring you despite your maximum efforts?

If the answers to these questions are in ‘yes’, to whatsoever decibel of intensity, then here are a few exclusive real-life examples out of the innumerable ones, for you to receive sumptuous doses of inspiration!

The young and inexperienced shoulders of Chester Carlson were charged with the responsibility to look after the ailing parents due to adverse circumstances. When he was seventeen, he met with a sad demise of his mother. At the age of twenty four, his father also passed away. He struggled hard to earn a degree in physics, where after he tried rigorously for a job. Probably, you would receive a shock to know that he was rejected by “eighty two” firms before he made it to Bell Labs in New York.

In 1934, Chester was in a job where he had to make copies of drawings by hand. But, even after so many painful and challenging strokes, destiny was not yet over with its stock of difficulties for Chester. His hands used to pain a lot, with the problem aggravating as the time passed. Chester was suffering from the problem of arthritis. When his whole job and hence livelihood depended on his hands, which were now on their way to ditch him, what was Chester’s move? Did he quit the job… to take a difficult dive in the swarm of rejections? Or, was he readying himself to sit with his head in hands, crying and wailing over his state?

What choice he opted?

When difficulties, challenges and failures try to kick you hard and knock you down, don’t turn your mood off! That’s not the wise angle to look at things! Instead, adopt an intelligent perception… How? What is that magical code to shoo away all failures and difficulties? To know this and furthermore, read the complete article in February edition of English Akhand Gyan monthly magazine.

Akhand Gyan was born and shaped by the Holy hands of His Highness Shri Ashutosh Maharaj Ji. The purpose was grand and magnificent in itself- to bring to light the real definition of 'spirituality' and wipe off the plethora of misconceptions dwelling in the minds of theists as well as the non-believers of God. It is clearly evident that the society has today lost its luster. It has moved miles away from the resort of its maker, union with whom was its prime goal.

Brahm Gyan is the sole basis for the making of a peaceful world. And a Poorna Guru alone can bestow this foundational knowledge… I live to these profound words of my Master. And, since the day of my inception, I have set forth on a grand mission to fulfill…to live it in my every page, my every corner, my every single word, i.e. to spread the significance of Guru and Brahm Gyan.

Inner peace

Inner peace

Innerpeace refers to a state of being spiritually and mentally at peace, with enough knowledge and understanding to keep oneself strong in the face of discord or stress. Inner peace can be reached only when we practice forgiveness. Forgiveness is letting go of the past, and is therefore the means for correcting. Peace of mind, serenity, and calmness are descriptions of a disposition free from the effects of stress. In some cultures, inner peace is considered a state of consciousness or enlightenment that may be cultivated by various forms of training, such as prayer, meditation or yoga. Awake your Energy. Enjoy the Inner Peace. Realize the dream. People have difficulties embracing their inner spirituality because the everyday stressors get the best of them and finding peace and happiness in the little joys of life can seem like a lot of work, and results don’t seem all that gratifying.

DivyaJyoti Jagrati Sansthan is a multi-faceted socio-spiritual organization, founded and headed by His Holiness Ashutosh Maharaj Ji to actualize the vision of ‘Global Peace, through Self- Awakening’.And lack of proper communication of knowledge regarding its ill effects and also parent-child communication gap adds amount to it. Therefore, under the campaign Utthaan – a state of art initiative to end the incidences and onset of drug abuse amongst masses from different sections of the country, we conduct various awareness programs time and again.the regional branch of Divya Jyoti Jagrati Sansthan under its social initiative Drug Abuse Eradication Program, Bodh carried forth the message of ‘necessity of the clarity of mind’ when it comes to adopting or experimenting with drugs. During an open conversation on what are the reasons of drug abuse or why would one begin with drugs, most of the answers viz.a.viz curiosity, peer pressure and stress were rooted upon due to lack of rational information regarding the ill effects of drugs. Observing so, experts from the organization stressed upon various demonstrations, experiments and video screenings to provide a deep insight into how drugs function in the body and take a toll into one’s physical, mental and psychological being.

Curiosity, Peer Pressure & Stress found out to be the main reasons behind the beginning of substance abuse during workshop with students in Nagpur, Maharashtra | Utthaan Campaign

5 Simple Ways To Find True Happiness - peace and spirituality

1. Now is the moment:

“Past is just a memory, future is a mental projecion”. You can choose past for learning and joyous reflection. You can choose future for planning, visualization and achieving goal. However any time your awareness divert away to the past or future life for negative purposes. to find your happiness the only way to grow in the only moment you ever have.

2. Do things you love:

Take a vacations every season, but as long as you get to do the things you love every once in a while, you will find greater happiness.

There is a lot of difference between searching for happiness and following your joy. Following your joy is all about listening your heart's desires, noticing what truly inspires you and recognizing your soul's purpose. A good starting point is to reflect on the question "When am I at my happiest?"

4. Invest in relationships:

No matter how many people may tell you, money will never buy your happiness. Money makes you to buy the things but relationships makes you feel happy in your life. Money buys things and if you share these things will you be able to be happy. You can be happy if you don’t have things to share as well, so long as you have people around you that care for you and they love you. Their feelings and positive emotions will reflect on to you and you can also give the same back to them.

5. Do something good for others:

If you can't put a smile on your face, put a smile on others. Doing good with others will often result in that good, feeling of joy.

Saints self satisfaction can be expressed by a story of Raidas: Once a merchant had to go out of the village and he thought that he should keep his precisous stones and golden ornaments to any such man who is more reliable and honest. In his point of view, no one is honest in the village. Then merchant took all his ornaments to the saint and asked him to help him. The saint agreed to save all his ornaments and told all the ornaments keep in the saint's house. After few days saints wife, when cleaning the house without seeing ornaments she dumped all that in the garbage. Both of couples not worried about the ornaments and even they did not remember them.

After few days merchant came asked about the assests: saint told him where you kept it, see that in the same place. He did not find anything from that place, he started crying and saying you had cheated me. But saints was not bewildered on the merchant reaction. Then Saint took merchant to the bank of river and told that he did not have any such kind of priviledges in these material things then why should he remove those things.  Why should he will remove golden ornaments and stones when he was able to get a lot of them. Devotees at Jagadhari, Haryana Revived from Shrimad Bhagwat Katha

“Wherever there is Krishna, the Master of all Mystics, and
Wherever there is Arjuna, the Supreme Archer,
There will also certainly be opulence, victory, extraordinary power and morality”
                                                                    -Shrimad Bhagwat Gita: 18.78
One has to realize that nothing in this world belongs to any individual person and everything belongs to that Supreme Lord. As pearls are strung on a thread, everything rests upon HIM. There is no truth superior to HIM but this is a matter of great grief that when a soul descends in the human form, it forgets everything and ridicules the Supreme. The truth about Lord Krishna and HIS transcendental position can never enter such confused and delude brains until they are molded into the divinity of true knowledge. This true knowledge can be attained ONLY after experiencing the Divine world of Lord within as Lord Krishna bestowed the true divine knowledge to Arjuna even in the battlefield. In the current era also, a perfect spiritual master can bestow the same on the human beings. No knowledge and truth is above than this and this is the essence and purpose of life.
